When you gonna get a new truck?

Hi. new to the site. I've got a 04 CCSB with an 8.1 Ally. It would never completely fry the tires off from a standstill, It would spin a little though. I picked up a Diablosport tuner a while back Dirt cheep (only reason I bought it) and it made a decent improvement, once I get the rest of my bolt on parts I'll get a customm tune. The truck runs good, stronger than my old 6.0 deffinetly, but I don't think its the beast the some of the other ones on this site are made out to be. Any power tips would be appreciated.
Tie rod, you got any parts left over you wanna sell?

Here are the trucks I've had:
2005 2500HD 8.1/Allison CC, 4x4, 4.10's- corsa exhaust
2005 3500HD 8.1/Allison CC, 4x4, 4.10's- turbo mufflers in stock pipe
2005 2500HD LLY D/A CC, 4x4, 3.73's
2006 Suburban 8.1/4L80E, 4x4, 3.73's
My 2 cents:
The 8.1/Allison trucks had no problem getting the power to the ground. My 8.1 2500HD would break the back tires free on a WOT launch and would fill the fenders with smoke when you powerbraked. No mods except exhaust. My 3500HD just had too much meat back there to spin 'em. Both raced through the gears.
The 8.1 burban is a little faster than the 8.1 HD trucks, but not by that much. Lighter weight and lighter tranny guts to spin, but it won't break the tires loose (probably due to the 1st gear ratio, 3.73's, and torque management).
I really like all the 8.1 with the Allison. It's a hot rod without a trailer behind it and accelerates really well pulling a heavy load. My only complaint is it doesn't have the diesel torque when pulling something heavy against a highway wind (70+mph) or when towing heavy on big hills.

When it comes right down to it, everything slows down some or downshifts up a big hill, everything. If what your towing is that heavy do you really want to be going 70mph at the top of a huge hill?!!! And if it really was that important to pull things fast there wouldn't be a truck driver we could catch.
Get a set of great heads, LT headers(2" into 4"), a fat cam, and a great tune and you'll have something that rips. Hell I'd just do the headers and a tune and I think you'd be more than happy with barely over a grand into it.
