Yes I know that power falls off at 5400 with the stock cam, anything past 6k is pointless

5.3 DOD + 6000 and over revving is a bad idea, had a lifter tapping after just 35k miles.

The other thing could be lack of warm up.
When the springs are cold they are more brittle, and if the customer starts up the truck and beats the **** out of it. Stuff like that would happen.

anything over 6000 is a waste my tunner says but i did so bc i want the next gear start strong at aprox 4500+ at 6150 shift point
