2010 chev 6.2 WOULD NOT MAKE POWER ON THE DYNO?!? WTF!?
its a 2010 6.2l chev 4x4 crew cab truck with only a few thousand or so kilometers. the truck is COMPLETELY stock... untouched. testing was done on a superflow autodyne 30 1800 hp dyno.
no matter what the man did the truck would not make a ounce more hp. it was on the dyno for like 2-3 hrs. threw all sorts of programs at it, played with VVT, timing, tried leaning it down but seemed to make less power so he fattened it back up, the richest his AFR setup was showing was 9.8:1.
his suggestion was exhaust was choking the motor back more so than the intake. soo.... i guess i have to free up the intake and exhaust which should help that motor breathe better.
just wondering if anyone else has dynoed a completely stock truck with a 6.2l and had success in making more power out of gm's stock setup?
here is a pic of the first all stock programming run and last run dyno sheet.

did you pull the ABS fuse? labeled number 9 under the hood in the relay fuse box.
if not. this would be 90% of the problem.
i never dynoed mine stock, so i don't have a good answer. all the ones i have seen thus far have been around 280-300 stock

Dosent suprise me dont worry about gettin more power out of the tune.Spark is already pretty dead on for the 6.2's.If you want more out of it remove some TM,and raise the shift points.I did some tuning on a 2009 Denali 6.2l by the time a got done fartin around with the lil things in the tune I dropped over 1 sec in the 1/4.

im not sure about the abs fuse... i know on the very first run just as it was just starting to roll in first gear you could hear the abs going off. but after that you couldnt hear it anymore. soo it must have been shut off some how. but im sure i dont remember a fuse being pulled out. seemed to run smooth for the rest of the runs.
tm was removed and shift points raised up to 5700 i believe so that would definitely help things out.
i do remember him saying that he tried throwing a bunch more timing to it and wasnt getting an once of knock showing up.

Let me get this straight...
You have a 4x4 Crew Cab....doesn't make a lot of power(there's some obvious here why the dyno readings might be low...)
He kept your air/fuel at 9.8:1? well yeah, your truck will run like **** and that's too rich. "Throwing more timing to it". Sounds like your tuner knows **** all about tuning.

sounds like you need a tuner mod...
