2019 suburban afm?
How to know if 2019 suburban has afm?
it does not appear to have 4cyl mode. Where you can put truck in m and go through the gears. Nor is there indication im un 4cy mode or v8 mode.
my 16 sierra had this 4cyl mode.
Is the afm directly realted to 4cyl mode feature?
I need to do more reseach understand exactly what afm and dod are.
all i have ever heard is to tune out or get deleted as soon as possible.

It does. The 5.3 and 6.2 both have AFM.
AFM/DoD just stand for Active fuel Management and Displacement on Demand. They both mean the same thing.
The V8 to V4 should be available to see if you go through the DIC and find the instant fuel economy page.

i seen the indication for v8 lower right corner of display.
i told my wife to watch as she drives to see or tell if it goes into v4 mode.
we drive mostly in town no highway im curouis if truck will just stay in v8 mode more.
