Our truck makes instant torque from idle. With the ported throttle body we have to be careful how fast you step on the gas or your neck will hurt from whiplash. I prefer a small split (2-4º) as they seem to make better pedal response than larger splits. With a little bit more stall in the converter, you can stretch a few more degrees of valve timing.

Do you have a stall in the truck now or is the stock converter in there?

Think of that. Why would you need the extra duration on the exhaust side if you had a good flowing exhaust? I was thinking you didnt need that much split.

headers will be here tomm, HPT will be friday, dyno time tuesday fans, and cai go on later on and then back to dyno for a final tweaking with a wideband.... and if im not close to my mark UDP will get ordered

I think your gonna be damn close jeff, oh yea, what u doin next weekend? I need to get your tools back to you and get that solenoid back to you. Oh yea, Im bringing back some e-fans from home this weekend
