This may be a stupid question but does Lingenfelter make a good quality cam? I dont mind paying 400 for a comp cam but would i just be buying the "Lingenfelter" name with their cam. I want a cam that is going to last for the life of my truck. Please fill me in

I think Comp makes Lingenfelter's cams.

Lol, yea the truck itself isn't stealthy but i kind of want some lope but then again i don't so that i wont have to change out the cam if i go in for warranty work. One guy wants me to buy his 216/224 .551/.551 114 crane cam. He said its made for torque. The question is, will this work with just tunining and no stall? And yes i know this will have noticeable idle.

I had the 206/212. Wanted a 216/220 and now have a 218/224. So far I like it, and I'm on the stock converter for a few more weeks, but I havn't put many miles on the tune, so I'll have a little bit more info in a few days.

Best was 9.64, i ran a couple of 9.9's though with traction and heat problems. The 9.64 was the first run of the day and i had let the engine cool and didn't spin much off the line. I just ordered a more aggresive 93 tune from pcmforless with 100% tq management removed and just had a transgo hd2 shiftkit and vette servo installed so i hope that will drop the times a little.

If you decide to go with the 206/212 Comp cam, I know from personal experience that Bryan can tune for it
