Tib,

You might wanna throw some titanium retainers in there too. Im still unsure where to put my shifts. Im still pretty impressed with this cam though. Feels like it could pull forever.

yhis is the cam i want to get.. how does it pull down low? is anyone running it with out a stall?

I am and it pulls just fine in the low RPM's. But it will realy shine with a verter. The TB verter would be a great alternative with this cam.

hmm with how cheap that TC is the more i think i will go with it over the tt3000.

that and it will put me closer to getting the cam!!!

nice to know that it will pull good low end it was a little worried about it.

I like this cam also and I am going to put it into my truck. What are some prices on these parts, new and used: 212/218, 918s,titanium retainers, comp hardened pushrods, and trailblazer TC?

I only paid $280 for my cam. But on the other stuff you just gotta look around for the best deal. I got all my gaskets, valve seals, oil pump, springs from GMPartsDirect. Still cheaper than local stealerships.

The oil pump needs to be replaced also?

No you dont have to. But its a good idea to do it while you have the front cover off. I also replaced my valve seals. My motor had 73K on it at the time I put the cam in.

I've always heard titanium retainers are recommended for setups clearing 6500rpm, but thats your choice if you would like to buy a set.
