Did you not like the ls6 springs? Some blue 01 ls6 springs are going in my wifes Sierra in a couple of weeks.

Not that I didnt like them. The 918's were free and unused. I dont even know why I wasted the time swapping them.

What cam are you putting in the wifes truck? 01 ls6 springs because it's a smaller cam?

I am getting the 01 ls6 cam(204/211 525/525 116) in my wife truck mainly because this a cheaper alternative and you don't loose as much low end compared to the 02+. If I remember correctly, the 01 ls6 valve springs are good for a 540 lift wish is suffiecient for this cam and any other cam with a mild lift.

hmm. i am running the 216-220-525-532-114 and i am shifting at 6400 1-2 and 6300 from 2-3.

this cam and blue ls6 spring have preformed flawless,this set up is more quiet than the stock 5.3 was,I would say due to the shaved heads it tightend the lifter preload slightly.has shifted at 6K flawlessly maybe a million times now.
