Shane - E-mail me the specs on the stock cam when Geoff throws it on the doctor. I'm interested to see what it comes out to since my SS had the same cam.

I wouldn't mind trying something on a 112 LSA in my truck to see how it responds. Maybe a 210/216, .525"/.525", 112 LSA? I want the added power for sure, but I want it completely stealthy while keeping the bottom-end torque. I'll hop in the SS when I want to cam.

That is about the same as I was thinking on a cam for my truck. I am curious to see the specs/dyno on the TR truck cam.

BigKid: The TR truck cams are still in testing right now. We trying out a few different ideas right now to see what works.

Ryan23silverado: The dyno runs were all started at ~3k rpms. So, there was no way to log anything lower. If we tried to log lower, the tranny would have downshifted into first.

so what is the better rout to go, the comp cam 212/218 or the ls6 cam. i read and see that they seem to be close in numbers, can anyone tell me which would be better for bottom, mid and high rpm hp and torque.

i would go with the 212/218 over the ls6 cam any day. get ~10rwhp more and it comes in at a lower rpm. cant aruge with that

the only reason so many people look at the ls6 cam is because it is really cheap compared to this cam. performance wise it is far from the best for our setups

The LS6 cam kills a LOT of bottom-end torque. It pulls hard up top if you move the limiter up, but you'll HATE it if you do any towing at all. The LSA is way too wide IMO.

how would that cam compare to putting a Z06 cam in a 2002 4.8L truck?
