Yes, blownchevy has that cam. That cam was specifically designed for the radix as well. This is the one I will be leaning towards. However, I still have yet to see any comparing dyno sheets to show no tq loss. But then again I have never pushed the topic because I am not at that stage yet.

Back on topic to the original post....... I was simply throwing out the torque consideration.

Wanna make torque? Check out the thunder racing old man cam too.

OCBC, got rid of the crew 2 weekends ago this Saturday. I'm loving the L33 so far. Just got my true flow intake, just the drop in, a few minutes ago. Going to use the stock box and do something with the tube, not real sure. Trying to decide on the exhaust right now. But yeah, its badass.

Now Back On Topic

I would go with a 220/220 .566 like a tr 220 alot of guys seem to have great luck with cams in that range more so than split durations with stock heads. Mine is a 222/222 LPE gt2-5 cant beat it for 250 bucks. Any aftermarket cam is really gonna be enhanced with free flowing exhaust, I think the stock heads , free flowing exhaust and a cam in the 220-222 range is a great setup on a 5.3

Yellow, you never did say, do you have an aftermarket converter in yet? What other mods are done to the truck?

Well, at least you have the tune. You will need to get tuning done to run that cam. And I highly suggest that you make a converter your next mod. You're gonna need it. It will run fine on the stocker, but your just gonna feel like a dog off the line, What gear ratio you running? If 3.42's-3.73's, a 2800-3000 stall converter would be plenty, if running 4.10's I'd personally step up to a 3200.
