Here's a screenshot of a WOT run just before the 2-3 shift.

The motor is stock .. no headwork at all, not even milled heads or anything. It does need some more compression. I'm kinda weary of shaving the heads though because of the size of the cam.
The cam specs are 233/239 .598"/.603" 113 LSA. It's a TSP custom cam. I think I'm running on ls6 springs too. I know they should be 918's but they aren't blue stripped, it's more a green stripe, like the ls6 springs. I know I have a set of both, but I can't find either set, so I'm not sure which is actually on the truck. It could use a heavier spring regardless.

And yes, tuning was a lot of work.
It doesn't always fall to an idle that smooth, but will in neutral always.

It also goes slightly downhill from the start line all the way til you see it go up. The traps are about even with the start line. I can only assume it was done to help slow the fast cars down cause there isn't a whole lot of room at the end of the track. It's not one I would run a top fueler down by any means.
One of there prep techniques is to use a sprayer of VHT like a torch on the line. It actually works quite well. One night we were there and some newbie went to try and smoother some flames from the sprayer getting into the grass with a mop soaked in VHT. Needless to say, the mop went up in flames too. I'm not talking anything big, but enough to see from the stands. The guy spraying the VHT went and grabbed an extinguisher to put the mop out with. He ran over to the guy with the mop, pulled the pin, squeezed, and nothing happened. He shook it, tried again, still nothing.
They ended up stepping on the mop to get it out.
Another night the ambulance ran out of diesel at the end of the track, by the time booth.
I think they closed down this summer ...
