Hey all!!! I have some questions about some 241 heads I picked up for real cheap... I am going to have these ported, polished, matched and put in along with a Compcam 214/224 115lsa. I already have intake/LT Headers/Exhaust but want more power. I'm also going to put a stall and port my intake and TB... Now I know its ideal to use my stock 799 and port and polish them but my Tahoe is my DD and I can't have it down for too long.

So my questions are; Would this benefit my goals of more low end power? What kind/size valves should I get for the 241s and What gaskets do I get?

get some stage 1 799s from tsp and sell your 241s and 799s to recoupe cost.

241 heads flow the same as a 5.3 and have bigger combustion chambers so you'd actually lose compression and power..

I did read that but isnʻt there a way to bring the CR back down when you port it?
