Corsa makes a great muffler set-up, but they are pricey. The good thing is that it will be last muffler system you ever buy because it sounds right. No drone and at highway speeds you don't hear it until you put your foot in it.
By the time you play around with other combinations, you will have spent more than what the Corsa would have cost you.
Keep checking ebay, occasionally they'll have an HD Corsa system on there - I paid under $500 for mine and I've seen them for less.
Good luck.

I'll back up Neils suggestion for the flopro muffler. Its about as close to a stock replacement that you'll find. I've got one. Sound is good. The muffler is huge and pretty heavy however.

Are you on crack? Was that with the OBX headers and their resonators or with the Pacesetters you have? I have had several vehicles and took the cats off, everytime it got louder a lot louder. Perfect example, last year on my 1500 I had a 14 inch long Magnaflow. It sounded nice, I had it tuned and pulled the cats. It was so loud that I had to get a 28 inch long Magnaflow just to be tolerable again. If you take the cats off it will get louder.
