I also switched to a smaller pulley, hopefully I will get to try it out before long. I didn't go that small though.

No, the new pulley had a nut on it so I didn't have to use it to put it back on, but I couldn't get the old pulley off w/o it spinning. Why?

I just went from 3.4 to 3.25 and im seeing a solid 8.5-9 psi. And an updated Nelson PCM, I also will say.....Holy ****, that woke the truck up!

it is not a good ideal to use ANY air tools what so ever on the nose drive of the supercharger. There are very tight clearances in there that can be changed with the intensity of an impact gun.

I was gentle, It came off with very very little effort. How else do you get the original pulley off?

as long as you put it back on with hand tools you are ok!

I took the nut off mine with a ratchet and a 17mm socket. I had to hold the belt with my hand to get it back on.

I paid a local shop $60.00 for a Gatorback belt and to exchange the pulley. I'm running a 2.9 and it's running strong. It's 110 here, too hot to be working under the hood.

what are your IAT's with the extra boost compared to before?

BlownChevy, what size pulley you running again?
