Default 3.7 liter I5 questions

Anyone have any real-world experience with the 3.7 I5 yet ??....I'm looking at buying a 2007 RCSB 2WD 3.7 Colorado and adding a turbocharger to it eventually. With 242hp and 242ft/lbs it's pretty strong already but I'd like to hear opinions....

Motor IS new of '07, it's available in the Colorado/Canyon and some different Saabs

I'd be throwing a ~3000rpm stall converter into it almost right away, a higher max torque rpm doesn't bother me too much

I'm thinking a custom turbo would be pretty simple....a single T66 would do the job nicely !!

Yeah...it's a bit overkill, but it'd be fun , I'd probably use one of the T04B S-trim turbos that I have for my twin-turbo 6.0 project.

I want to know if anyone has experience with the 3.7 too. My dad just bought a 2007 2WD Colorado with the 3.7, auto, and 3.73 gears. He ordered it with the factory lowered suspension (ZQ8) and 18" Xtreme wheels. Should be a nice truck.
