That is interesting to know, it would mean for the LS9 and LSA GM went back to a return-style vacuum referenced fuel pressure regulator. I would think that would be a prerequisite for boost, make sense.

I had a couple of people suggest it, but had never heard any reasoning for or against it. I generally don't change anything unless either I or someone else can explain the justification behind it.

No, they are returnless still. The computer ramps the pump voltage with rpm.

wonder if their using a fmu of some sort like procharger all it does is increase fuel psi.

Bizzare. Now that you mention PCM control, I recall a similar system for the E85 5.3L LMG engine. There's a guy, pswired, over at the PPE Forum I help moderate that's installed a LMG into a '95 Yukon originally equipped with a LO5 TBI 350. He had to overcome some compatibility issues.
