yeah, i wasn't aware they changed the law last year, wow. Mine have been on for a few years now, i think.

in CA it's a $1000 fine for each cat missing, or so it was a few years ago. I'm sure there are CA legal cats you can by from Magnaflow, check your local muffler shop, they may be able to steer you in the right direction.

just found some on the Magnaflow website. there are only 3 cats to choose from with a 3" in/out that are CA legal. all of them are around $200 each and HUGE. I'll have to find some space to fit them.

You mean if someone goes direct duals, he gets around $3k - $4k fine ?

$1k each = $2,000 plus the long tubes would have to come off, plus the stock exhaust go on, plus having to pay and see an emissions referee. Better to not have stinky exhaust, ehh?

... The max you can get here is $1,000, no matter how many catts your vehicle run on.. but still ... that sucks

Who doesn't love to smell that unleaded fuel haha
