Default 3" duals or 2.5" duals

Got a supercharged 4.8. Need new exhaust.. Its got headers.. Should i run 3" duals to the mufflers and 2.5 from there.. Or should i run 2.5 all the way? Think i would loose alot of low and mid power with the 3"? thanks

I'm in the same boat as you. It looks like you tried both and had better luck with the dual 2.5 setup? I'm going to be running a procharged 4.8 with a cam.

Cool, There's a good possibility that I will be upgrading to a LQ4 in the near future as well. That along with the fact that I have access to 3" mandrel bends here at work. Sounds like I'll just go the dual 3" route with an X-pipe.

I would say 3" all day long. The LSx platform loves big headers and big exhaust setups.

I'd say 2.5" duals will be just fine. 3" duals would be too much I think you'll lose TQ.
