It's called "sound meter" and is red and black themed lol. I have an android btw, and I really don't know how accurate it is
Meet me in TX lol. The magnaflow sounded like it belongs on a ratty muscle car or a vette.
@dantheman1540 drive that pile to AZ so I can hear it in person. Can't tell if I like the Magnaflow or the Flopro better. Need to hear it live and in person.

I already had a "Sound Meter" app installed, but I think I found the one you are using. Is it by Splend Apps ?
I will try to record some of my current setup and DB readings for comparison.
I made some notes, and will need to figure out what else I need to order to put this together.

I can't get a good comparison now, since my muffler has rusted through completely now. Good sized hole and it's a lot louder and worse sounding than before....
I pulled up the app on way home just to see some numbers. I go up a mountain, throttle is 20-30%+ most of the way so it's a decent load. The app was reporting about 87 DB average, it was around 88 DB at the "perfect" RPM's for loudness which is usually around 1600-1700, and again it starts to ramp up around 2200. The lower RPM range gets that super loud drone, which may not come up well on the app.
Before I got the hole in the muffler it was a fair amount quieter than this. It's just plain terrible now, I need to buy some clamps and then get a dry weekend to mock it up and get it done... May have to take to a shop but I'm particular on how things look on the truck so I'd rather not. I am thinking about getting it mocked up and tack welding the parts together, then taking it to shop to get everything finish welded. I'm not setup for welding stainless, and it's not a good job to do laying in the gravel anyway.

It's a big single in, single out Flo Pro. It's probably been rusting out on the inside for a while, but in the last 4 yrs and 20k miles I had the truck it got pinholes all over and a big crack that just broke through now. Dumps about as much exhaust out the bottom of truck now as the tailpipe and rattles fiercely.

I added a Vibrant Performance Bottle-Style Resonators 17950 to my dynomax 3” tailpipe with a
MagnaFlow Performance Mufflers 12279 , it still rumbles at idle. is pronounced at WOT, but doesn’t drone!

I had my Magnaflow 12599 installed. DI factory 3" to DO 2.5" over the axle, straight out the back with 3" tips. Wasn't exactly how I wanted it... but a shop did it so whatever. I needed it done, didn't want to crawl on wet/ice/snow gravel and spend 2 days on it. It does sound good, but also.... loud. Anything over 2100 RPM starts to roar in cab. Looks like I need at least double the amount of muffling, as others have found here to get "quiet". It doesn't help the cats are gutted either, so I'm considering replacing the cats and/or adding 1 or 2 more big mufflers in line. I hope to get long tubes some day, so that will be even louder. IF I get it a little to quiet now that wouldn't be so bad, LT would probably even it out.
For a toy truck, this level of sound and the exhaust note would be great. Just a deep rumble at lower RPM, but really starts to roar when you get into low 2k RPM.
Recorded a cold start video, but also want to add in some general driving and WOT/different RPM levels. Will post that later.
