I know, I might or might not. I like the idea of having some torque below 2000 rpm. With my manual transmission I could really use that. The cool thing about having the 5 speed is that I can use the higher RPM torque instead if I want to and now with this muffler, it doesn't sound offensive to the whole neighborhood if I rev it out a bit.

I was wondering about those Flo-Pro mufflers too. I was thinking of doing the 2510 and then having an electric cutout, since the Pro-Flo doesn't seem like the best flowing muffler, but will probably be quiet.
Actually, how well would the stock 6.2 muffler flow with Long tubes, ORY and a supercharger? There's a 6.2l muffler in the dumpster at work so I could use it if it would be worth it. I could still do a cutout too. Anything I go with would be an axle dump. I like the idea of a stock looking muffler for state inspections though.

For **** and giggles I'm gonna revive this as opposed to making a new thread.
The exhaust setup is currently Long tube headers, some baby cats, a giant Flopro 2500 and dual 3" all the way out the back. Its very well packaged and nearly stock quiet which I like but I think now that I have the bigger cam I'd like to get an extra DB or 2 at idle.
The PO had the Magnaflow 12599 and said it droned so what are my other options? I know I could make a J tube or throw a set of ultra quiets or bullet resonators but is there a better option for a muffler before I buy one and hate it then try to bandaid it.

Stock 6.2 muffler sucks. I just swapped mine for a magnaflow 12909, and I probably need a tune touch up to maximize the performance side, but from just swapping the mufflers I gained around 1.5 mpg which tells me something changed considerably. The sound changed a little, but not much louder really between the two.

Well since everyone ignored me I went ahead and got a Magnaflow 12599 and a really nice budget $20 tip. I'm shocked the tips are this nice for $20, will probably rust faster than a high quality one but oh well.
