Long story short Picked up a 98 trans am long block LS1 that had a rod knock, the guy said he never touched it but it ran 11.9's and it was sent to SLP for work from the last guy who owned it.... anyways 300 dollars later and a few hrs it was torn down in my garage, on the heads it says 306 on the bottom left.... not the right like im used to seeing the cast number from GM.... also I could not find any GM cast name on/in the heads anywhere... they dont look to be ported or anything

any help on this would be great! thanks

does it have the old perimeter bolt style valve covers?

they r prob 806 heads

nope center style, this is the weird thing it says 306, ill have to take some pics... im lost on it
