Default 317 heads or aftermarket?

i found a set of 317 heads off and LQ4 with 18k on em for $50 bucks local...you think that i should get those and have em worked or just get a set of aftermarket?

i want my 6.0 to be a streetable truck...mild cam(ie 22x duration and 5xx lift)some where in that range and maybe an ls6 intake...this will be infront on a t56 if all goes well so again just wanna see if i should hop on this or just go with an aftermarket set of heads...thanks for the input...

if you want to have them checked out, just take them to your local orileys and they will send 'em off to have them checked and cleaned up for dirt cheap.

i did it with the heads off my 5.3 i had. turned out the heads were a little warped so they shaved them down for me, cleaned 'em up and put new valve seats in for about $130. but to have them checked out i believe its about $30 a head...
