hmmm ... I saw just shy of 300 RWHP stock internals with bolt ons on the 2001 5.3L ... I would imagine on a stock converter I would have seen 300 RWHP no problem.

4" Intake, HPPIII, MAF Relocate, ASM Headers, Cut-outs open, Converter
.........RWHP: 291
.........RWTQ: 347 ft/lbs

I have each mod dynoed and validated by ET on my website (see sig) step-by-step.

Wouldn't a 4" intake kinda lose power down low to the mid? I'm going to P&P my TB this weekend, just wanted to know.

this must of been on a free wheel spin dyno, or uncorrected JMO

I am an emissions development engineer with hundreds of hours on dynos ranging from loaded to unloaded ... inertia, accellerometer, eddie current you name it. I have run enough dynos to discern erronious information from factual. All my numbers were in fact SAE Corrected but even if they were NOT the begining baselines and post mod testing were done by myself on a calibrated dyno. Should they have been inflated by an un calibrated dyno, the gains would have been relative still offering the increases with only larger inital and after numbers. My truck has well over a hundred passes on three dynos over its life - Mustang MD1000, Dynojet 248c/224x, Superflow Autodyn.

But I guess we can argue this until your bule in the face ... they are just dyno numbers ... timeslips speak more but those merely validate my dyno numbers.

I found NO loss with the 4" intake.

I did relocate the MAF which places the metering after the 4" tubing and filter so the PCM can compensate for the increased air flow.
