You are right, what should I do to my 5.3 to hold 10-15 lbs of boost?? Is my TR220-112 cam good for a turbo setup? Should I go with 70mm or 76?? Trick right??

This is what I was referring to as 0 lag. Mine didn't hit hard until 3500ish (5.3 with STS 67mm) but I could stand on my 3k converter for a few seconds and push it well over 4k if I wanted...0 lag when stalled properly. Time in my sig was only 8.5 lbs of boost on 20's. Still have the slip.

I see I did say previously staged properly. Should have said stalled properly (at the tree).

OP: 10lbs - nothing. 15 lbs - studs and ls9 gaskets
Cam - sure
76 for more power. 70 for DD and responsiveness but it will give up some power. Love Trick or KB Racing...both great guys.

no. LS9 head gaskets are the same compressed thickness as the stock 5.3 gaskets. they are a 7 layer MLS gasket to help with sealing the heads to the block. head studs or some ARP head bolts are a good idea. you wont need either of those unless you are planning to run higher boost levels. most people are fine with stock head bolts and gaskets in the 10-12psi boost range. as for the cam, the tr220 will work, but there are better suited cams for FI applications out there. the gains wouldnt really be worth the effort of the cam swap unless you are looking for every bit of power it can make.

Ohhh, I already have ARP head bolts, but will dig into the LS9 gasket to get a set, I will install a TBSS intake and TB probably this week and will talk to trick performance to design the best kit possible for my needs..
About the cam, I will do some research for the best cam I can put on to get the most I can from my setup.. Any ideas on cam or turbo setup I should get??
