my maf is connected. always was. just the map was disconnected. but i cant say that over the last year laying around, being moved and bumped around the MAF didnt get damaged. so lets say the MAF is damaged then with the MAP unplugged the engine wouldnt start. if i hold the throttle and wrap on it the engine runs great. i just dont want to break my new engine in at 3000 rpm's.
if you guys want to debate on my thread have at it. im honestly reading all the input and learning about tuning as i go.

i messaged wheatley to ask him about the map and fuel tables on initial start up. honestly i think that since the PCM has never been calibrated for that engine and the map is unplugged that it is not allowing the pcm to calibrate.

tell me about it. it sounds amazing now. im just not comfy keeping an engine at 2500 and up on the first start up. but i do have one last project and thats hooking up the e-fan harness to the pcm so i can do that today. i will post video of it running once i figure out how. i think i can upload to youtube and then link it here right?
