Default 383 stroker on a 4.8L

Is it possible to put a 383 stroker kit on the 4.8L, I know its the same block, with just a shorter stroke, but what all would I have to do to convert my engine to a 383?? Also I'm sure I'd need new piston heads with the "dome" to keep my compression ratio up, right? Someone who knows about this, could you list what parts of my engine I would have to replace to do this, thanks a lot.

The LS1 383 stroker kits come with everything you need(piston, rods, crank). You'll need to bore your 4.8 block from the 3.7 bore it is to 3.9. You'll also need ported cylinder heads to support your stroker and a cam to match the heads. When you order the kit, you'll need to let them know what compression ratio you'd like and the size of your combustion chamber in order to determine your piston dome or dish size.
