I have the Borla Xr-1 with a dynomax bullet in front of it. I want it to be louder. its about as loud as the flowmaster was. But magnaflow will give you the same sound for less money.

 

Check out Aero Stealth muffler, I believe the muffler number is 170. Thats what I'm running & it was just alittle louder than my stock muffler was. They claim its the quietest performance muffler avalible

 

Whats all dont to your truck? I have headers, true dual 3 inch with no cats, so that also makes it louder. Right now my truck with the 40 series flow masters is louder than my camaro that I race.

 

Yeah, I was just checking out those Aero mufflers...The clip they have of that V10 Excursion sounds pretty wicked!

 

Right now all I have is a Volant intake. I have a set of LTs & ORY about to be installed & if it turns out to loud, I'll probably try Magnaflow's 30" case. But I plan on running a pair of there spun cats.. Sooo it shouldnt be to loud, I hope.

Yea, I think those are called Aero Turbine mufflers. If my truck wasnt a daily driver thats the kind of muffler I'd be running, they sound mean. But the Stealth line is supposed to be alot quiter.

 

i was running corsa sport lts and ory no cats and it was LOUD!!!! i put a bullet infront of it and its sounds nice now.

 

Get the corsa sport catback with the dual 4 inch tips. I got that and im running headers and no cats and there is hardly any sound in the truck. Almost silent until i get on it, then it gets crazy loud.

 

I got a DI/DO magnaflow with x pipe followed by two more 20'' magnaflow cans. It is almost silent at wot but still has lope at idle.

 

I have the Magnaflow 22" case muffler with LT headers and a ORY pipe, at normal driving it is quiet then at WOT it can be loud.

 

My 40 series flows with stock everything else dualed from muffler back was about as loud as my xr-1 is now with LT's ORY, dynomax bullet as a resonator and then dumped at the axle.
The further back you go the quieter it will be also.
