4* cam advance, HELL YEA!!!!!!!
Well i finnaly did it last night. It took me 2 1/2 hours start to finnish, and it made 100x the difference i thought it would. There is no more hesitation when you first floor it. From 800-3000rpms it pulls a little harder than with the stock cam, but from 3k to 6500 it pulls harder than i ever imagined. . I took a couple friends for rides last night and they siad it felt like the truck was pulling as haed as my car.
I doubt its as fast as the Z, but it sure feels like a you hit the go-go button at 3000rpms. Off the line it is BAD! I went out for some street action and scared all the ricers , but did get one poor Mustang GT to bite. When we hit it i pulled on him by a couple car lengths within seconds.
I also changed my plugs that have been in for a little more than a year of the 225 shot. They were still gapped at .030, but they were brittle and a couple broke in my hand. I put in some NGK TR6's when i advanced the cam. It idles smoother and sounds really pissed off.
Tonight I'm going to Epping Raceway, but with my cutouts open and the stock stall i will be hurting off the line. My 60' will probibly be 2.4s. lol

Sweet! What's the total advance you're running now? You did this to help with vacuum too, right? (or am I thinking of another person?)
I didn't realize you run at Epping. I'll have to get up there one of these weeks to make a few passes.

One thing that is odd out of the advance is i swear you can hear the exhaust in the intake some. Is this because of the cam size and advance? It doesnt seem to hurt it whatever it is.

I think you have that cam just right. You must have crazy power in the midrange and especialy down low.
