Golden, and those running 4.10's, what size tire are you running? I know I'm doing posi, but I still can't decide on a gear swap.
With my 4.10s and 27.5" tires i am at about 2400rpms at 70mph. At 75 its right at 2600rpms. To pass people all i need to do is give it a little gas and it takes off, no down shifting required on the steepest hills.

Cool beans! I like my current tire size, so 4.56's might be on the way. That'll put me at about 2577rpm @75mph. Thanks for the input.

So do I but Im haveing problems with my nitrous. I went 13.7 with a small dry shot but I have changed two things since then (Bottle and MAF) and now when I spray the O2’s are all over the place and sometimes I get detonation. Either I have a contaminated bottle or the MAF isnt reading the nitrous. Once I get that fixed/figured out, I will work my wet shot, with the two of them I should be able to kill my 4.8 in no time.

Quick question-

When I install my 4:10's and posi from my opened diff w/ 373's, will my computer be screwey?? I know the MPH will be slightly faster, so will a tune fix all of this stuff???

I am debating on if i should get the tune or the gears first since it's $$$ permiting and I need to get the gears and E-locker before november comes around since the Install will be free.

You definitly need to get the tune 1st. No matter what get the tune 1st. Your shift points will be all screwed up and the rev limiter. On top of that the tune will give you some hp/tq and overall better driveability. I got my tune from Nelson and when I went to the 4.10's I called him up and told him what I was doing and I had a new pcm at my door in about 4-5 days(regular shipping) and for free(except like $10.00 shipping) You get free updates for as long as you have the truck. Sorry for semi-jacking this thread but di a tune 1st whoevers you use!
