You need to do a DBW conversion, not a big deal. The new pedal bolts in, as does the TAC module. 20 minutes to do that. Use an 03-06 harness and PCM. To control the 09 motor you'll need a Lingenfelter box to convert the 58x to the 24x crank signal. Tap the block for the old knock sensors, and extend the wires for the cam posistion sensors to the front of the engine.

Than it's just your typical swap stuff, mounts lines, hoses etc. I'm just putting the finishing touches on the V8 swap in my '06

Tac moudle controls the DBW system..

Question, i want to do this to my 07 classic, however i read somewhere that you have to swap in the dash harness too?

The link between the Gas pedal and the pcm. Little black box bolted on the drivers side of the brake booster. If you go look at your truck you'll notice 3 studs there, 2 close to the fender, 1 close to the booster. That's where it goes.
