Man i didn't know you didn't have any boost reference. I thought you just didn't have any sort of boost controller. Sorry i didn't comprehend that earlier....that's pretty basic stuff.
Running better now? Also just so you know.....those home made controllers from Home Depot will work but there are better alternatives for sure. It's a pretty lazy controller and won't help your spool all that much. Standard ball and spring. Look into a Hallman or something of that quality. I bet you pick up a few hundred rpm in spool over the Home Depot unit.

right now he just wants the 4-5 psi so he is just going to hook up a boost line to the waste gate. and i don't see a boost controller help it get to 4-5psi when the controller would not even be turned on by then. i was just recommending a cheap alturnitive to a $100 controller that looks the same just painted. i don't understand how one can make it spool up faster than another unless its a better flowing and can send more pressure faster to the top of the waste gate to hold the spring completely closed and not alowing the valve to creep open. i guess maybe i just answered my question here though. either way he don't have a ton of money and i know i got mine for like $15-$20. and it looks like the same type as what i've seen in some of the sts pics i've seen. same mounting bracket and all.

yes that help the boost he is haveing problems with the maf poping a high input code at 4000 rpm at the same time it is falling on its face. and the take off from a sit still boggs bad until about 1500 i think he said when it starts building boost then it pulls harder and harder until 4000 where he gets his light and it falls but he said if he part throttles it it has the lag at take of then pulls good shift at 2500 and keep pulling good. oh and he said if he trys to brake stall it, it acts like it wants to die so he has to let out and let it catch up then get back into it. so??????????? any ideas your the tunning guy
one more thing i forgot the boost is good at 4-4.5 with a small quick 6 psi jump between shifts.
