Oddly enough, some 6.0L will pop up here or LS1Tech fairly cheap, most of the time I have found great deals on eBay. Usually LQ4s.

What are your goals after the swap?? if you are going to stay N/A i would recomend a 5.3 because you will gain some low end torq and if you add a mild cam and a stall your truck will be alot of fun . On the other hand... if you want to go FI then the 6.0 will be the way to go since the Lq4' have low compression, I personally bought a 6.0 and rebuilt it to top it off with a radix after I get an FLT level 5 .

umm sorry man but BS!

the 6.0 alwys has and always will have more TQ than the 5.3l

the 6.0 is superior to the 5.3 and 4.8 in every way and situation

get a 05-up LQ4 whether you got NA or FI. put some ported small combustion chamber heads on a lq4 with nice cam and you have a high-compression, pump gas NA motor, or put some ported large combustion chamber heads w/nice cam and your choice of Fi and you have a monster

I'm not saying that the 5.3 has more tq than a 6.0 since he's thinking about buying two sub's instead of the 6.0 becasue of the cost I was giving him a cheaper alternative.
