My rclb 4.8 ran 14.90 with a cheep tune and 4.56 gears. All I gotta say is spin the lil bitch. 5.38 gears minimum.

There is a guy on youtube that took a stock 2010 with the 4.8 and built his own turbo kit for around 3K. And also installed the LS2 cam and ZO6 springs with a 400T transmission.

dont be afraid to mod the 4.8. mine has gone 13.5 on motor with no timing for the nitrous and 11.83 on a 150 shot with a horrible 60ft. with the right setup the 4.8 will be more than enough power and still ghet 22mpg or better
