It feels like I may have lost some low end but seems to "kick" a little more at 25-2600 on up. I definitely need to retune. I'm manual but you auto guys would probably see good results with a 3k stall.

If you want to rev less than 6300, I agree with the opinion of Grey Matter, the comp low lift will get you great power to 6300 and minimalize the loss of torque. The 220 would be good for 6500 to 6700 imo. I think without revving that high that youd be leaving power on the table

Get a custom grind specd out for u. If u go to small ur gonna wish u went bigger. Just my 2centz im on my 3rd cam. I started with the 212 went to a 217 and now about to install a 222... got better times everytime.. and since ur 5 speed u don't need to worry about converter. And don't worry ur engine can hit 6500 np. Just make sure its not all day everyday. Lol

i just see a 220 being to much cam for a 4.8 because it will be lacking lowend power
The 4.8s already have no low end and this cam isnt gonna help

say 5th gear n the interstate at 70 mph about 1700-2000rpm and you wanna pass a car probly gonna have to down shift into 4th instead of just rolling in the throttle.
With a torquey cam like a 212/218 it would pull in 5th

cough..... motor swap...... cough....

whatever you do dont go to big... and dont get roller rockers... not worth it...
what i would suggest is to buy a GOOD set of valve springs... dont risk it....

I'm thinkin a 212/218 with about 111 or 112 lsa would work fairly decent in my 4.8 ecsb... just need funds lol
