Default 4.8 doesn't suck so bad!!

this is a little suprizing to me.

i just went out and ran some gtech's, 10psi, pump gas, closed exhaust, stumble when i punch it. at least 100lbs i could cut, no nitrous

my experience shows add .3 to that time to get an acurate ET. thats a 12.8. . toss in good gas, turn up the boost about 5psi and add a few deg of timing, drop 100lbs, open the cut out, add small shot out of the hole. woohoo, where would that put it?

megasquirt kicks ***, so far the only tuning is about 2 hours worth at 4am last night. i needs a little tweeking still in a couple of spots.

Looks like you could be on the fastest truck list with each motor you do. 4.8, 6.0, 408

Clearly the 4.8 is the superior motor. In fact if some one with a 6.0 wants to up grade to a 4.8 just let me know I will pay half of the shipping for my sweat 4.8.

Actually the 4.8 times make me kinda happy inside knowing that it has the umph to run with the big dogs. You should see how much the 4.8L can take, punish it, abuse it!!!!
