Well damn nick you didnt say anything about replacing that already... take the radiator and run water through the top port and seee if it drains out the bottom.. if not it needs flushed duh!! but if not that then make sure the cap on the resevore is making good seal other wise it wont flow right...

There are a few methods, but here's what I do...not only on our trucks but a few different manufacturer's vehicles which are prone to air pockets, and I've never had an issue. I squeeze and pull the upper hose downward, holding it there for a few seconds while air bubbles release in the overflow, which I keep 3/4 full while doing so. I repeat this process many times until I know longer see and feel the air escaping. When I squeeze and pull the hose and nothing happens but the reservoir coolant level raising with my squeezing, I know I'm good to go

Had a clogged radiator over here as well. Replaced both and water pump and then burped the system. Stays cool like a champ now

I have always taken off the top hose and filled the system with it, when water starts running out of the top of the radiator you should be good. top off the resivior and remove the crossover tube from the passenger side of the radiator to see if any air is coming out.
