also since its an LS7 cam going into a 08 truck would i still need to get a different cam gear, timeing chain cover etc... or will the stocks work cause their both 4th gen parts?

Is your cam position sensor on the timing cover?

yup i looked at it erlier and it looks the same as the one usually needed.

well anyways im doing the swap this weekend on sat. well see how it goes?
