I have that same cutback. It's pretty loud and kinda drony but I put this muffler in fronton it and it toned it down a lot.

Have you tried a resonator tube to bring the drone down?

I am running a dynatech insert at the end of the exhaust.. It does not bother me as bad as Rogers bothers him.. I just do not have room for anything, other then putting resi's where the converters should be.. It is just loud when im in the pedal.. On the beltway it is ok.

No, 110 db at part throttle, around 3000 rpm. WOT is a whole different animal.

Here's me going WOT at highway speed.

Haha no I don't mean an echo chamber, its actually a resonator tube that branches off of your exhaust. Kind of looks weird if you're under the truck but if you are concerned about drone at cruise it really tones it down. Maybe I'll do a writeup on one and have Roger make it a sticky, not a lot of people seem to run resonator tubes to prevent drone.

Do the writeup. I need to learn something new anyways!

Do you have one installed on your truck? If so, post a pic. I remember when the auto manufacturers were using them years ago, and they also used to weld on huge weights too. Come to think of it, the new GMT900 air intake tubes have one on them too.

Very interested! Any links (I didn't find much except for an old mustang). Would like to see some pictures of what it looks like. Thanks.
