Thanks for going through the trouble for me. Would you consider it to be an annoying droan at that db? I'm going to find that db/droan level in my truck tomorrow & find out if it's satisfactory. If it's just loud, but not droaning, I'm okay with that.

I got one laying around from my old truck, but im going to give the bullet I already have too a shot first, doing Pacesetter LTs/Y-pipe into 4" back with the bullet first. If its just way too loud ill toss on the mega cab resonator...
I've been trying to find(locally) a used or discarded 4" Cummins muffler. You'd think with as many of them around, with 5" exhaust, that I could find one. Ya rite!

You'll have to get it done, and post up your results. I'm interested for sure. Sometime in the near future, another local AK truck is gonna get headers & 4" exhaust.

I have a friend out in Palmer that just upgraded his exhaust on I believe an 03 Dodge crew cab. Would his stock system have what you are looking for? I will text him later and ask him if he kept the stock stuff

Roger I think that the 60-70 DB 02'Z71ONDUBZ' got will be hard for you to do... I think those turbo's really quiet things down. A good example of that is on a diesel truck. Ussually when they first start up they are fairly booming then once the turbo spools they quiet right down. Would you be opposed to cutting into the ARH Y pipe and adding 2 resonators to the 3" pipe? I know it seems like a sin to cut into such a beautiful system, but it might be your best bet.

Thanks for all the input guys. I understand how the turbo would change the exhaust note, trying to factor that into my thought process.

Most of you guys are saying, yours are loud too. But none of you are saying that your setups droan teribbly enough to make you want to change your setups. That's making me think that my AFE is a big echo-chamber. I remember somebody else telling me that their AFE muffler on their turbo diesel was wicked-loud as well.

I think I'll make a call to Magnaflow when I have some time, and get their input.
