If you want your truck to be louder than your friends, then dont run a muffler, it wont be too obnoxious. If you wanna try it out, all you have to do is unbolt your y-pipe and get an idea of how loud it is with just cats on your truck. Simple as that. You should honestly find people you know with exhausts on their truck, find out what they have and base your decision on what sound you like, not what people on here tell you. There isnt really much need to run true duals unless you just want them. a single muffler in place of your stock one, with a turndown or duals out the rear, however you want will be just as efficient. If you leave the cats on the truck with the stock 2 1/4 exhaust tubing, that will be the most restrictive part, so having a true dual setup after that will not net any more performance gains than just a single high flow muffler in place of the stock one.

Your exhuast will be quieter with cats than without them. The Delta Force 40's will be a little quieter at idle that the original 40's. The 10 series will be really loud, I think they are intended to be a race muffler.

Even if i get an 03 or 04 would high flow cats help or not? But i guess im gonna go with the orig. 40's. Will the offset in/ center out mufflers fit? But im on the hunt for another truck so i dont really know what i will find. Its gonna be a 99-04..
