The long wheel base my mom has is a little slower, but in the short wheel base model that pops drives if you go wide open about 15 mph the traction light blinks all the way threw first and into second.. its awd....

What do you mean by wheel base differences? I've only seen them offered in crew cab-short box versions. There isn't an extended cab option and no way to get a crew cab -standard box since that is the HD platform.

The Sierra Denalis are all crew cab, short beds. Another crappy thing is that they only come with 3.42 gears
