Who's building the 4L60E? I've found that a good builder is every bit as important as the parts you put in the tranny.By the way he'll need the 200shot to run close to the Terminator Tahoe, the smack begins.

I think 400-450 is right on par. Have you thought about going a little higher compression? Sounds like your pretty dedicated, so a little more wouldn't hurt.

If you don't already have the pistons, you may even consider going with a -5cc piston.

I went with -2 for mine.

ATR in Little Rock is doing the transmission, this will be the strongest application one of their tranny's (4l60e) has ever been behind, so only time will tell. To date the most power put to the wheels through one of their 4l60's has been 450 hp...definately going to eclipse that with juice.

I thought about building this motor to be a high comp "all motor" rig, but i've got this good nitrous kit lying around so I figured what the hell, spray it like a cockroach. Rotating assembly is already being balanced, so -5cc are probably out of the question.

Running a little more compression would be good........but he is ADDICTED to nitrous! I thought when we were selecting his parts that 10.5:1 would be a good median for all motor and spraying a good shot of nitrous. ATR, the people building his tranny, is the best place around the Little Rock Area IMO. I have used them before without any problems. I don't know exactly what all is going into it but he said that it would have the Torquedrive Hardened input shaft assy. and all the hard parts like upgraded sprag, 5 pinion planetaries, good clutches with Kolene steels, I don't know which band he was planning on using, but he named off some other parts I just cant remember now. Hauler, you DEFINETLY better get a progressive controller to help the 60e live as long a life as possible!
