427 + TVS2300 1500 Silverado, bad exhaust?
well the car is an 2010 Silverado 1500 with a 427, TVS2300 at 8PSI and the exhaust is
SLP high-flow catted dual 2.5 to single 3inch split to dual 2.5" to the back.
Will run true dual 3 inch exhaust to the back, and take the cats off. Ill also swap out the throttle body to a ported Z06 throttle.
Any ideas on how much power I should gain? Truck is rated at 700bhp from the builder.

what style 2300 are you running, pulley size, compresion ratio, type of heads, size of the headers(primaries). and the throttle body should be bigger, porting a 90 will show very little in performance vs money spent on the porting, i would suggest the 102mm to start.

just bought the car brand new a few days ago, so I probably cant answer even half of those questions. I need to speak to the engine builder after tomorrow to find out more.
Primaries (longtubes) look like **** im guessing 1 3/4. Would love to have 2" primaries in there, tell me if you know anyone who does them for a 1500 without any clearance issues?
compression ratio is 10.3, 8psi (pulley size unknown), heads unknown.
Throttle body is a stock 5.3 liter throttle whatever that size turns out to be. I would love to go with a 102, but im worried about tuning the drivability. I was reading a little about those throttles for a Z06, seems most of the problems went away by merely adjusting the throttle body area scalar in the tune.
I know I probably didnt help much in this reply, but im figuring it out.

I am assuming you are running the front inlet front drive supercharger!?! that would explain the lower boost #'s, ARH makes a nice 1 7/8 version, thats what i have., the 102 will be a huge benifit. tuning it well thats not my dept. sorry i pay someone to tune my set-up. Not enough personal hardrive space to tune myself, so i just stick to building.

Ill open up the exhaust and opt for a bigger throttle body for starters, plus oil coolers and a few things.

I would recomend the DRx x-link for the plug n play harness adapter, and TPIS for their 102mm throttle body and their matching 102mm flange i helped design. minor porting of your inlet and bolt n go.
