it has said that for YEARS. i wish upd would come back with a better built 4" version. I love the UPD design but it's starting to crack apart and will get replaced soon.

the e-mail on the site is not in service any more and the phone number provided was disconnected.

anyone on the forum know how to work with plastic? i think theres money to be made by stealing this design and building it better lol. the quality of UPD was not as great as the others, but the design was awesome IMO.

There was a guy making gauge pods, I'm guessing he could handle making these lids. I'll go digging, brb...

There was a company (sponsor on tech i think) that copied the f-body lids and since this guy has patent's on everything he shut them down..Sooo it would have to be some what different to get away with it...

I know a guy thyat is real good friends with the owner of upd and ill see if he has any interest in making a small run of the lids..
The tube itself is a 2 piece design that isnt the greatest..

I'd be in for a lid only, as long as they wouldnt have any of the cracking issues that a few are speaking of

The black ones were the toughest but obviously the clear ones are really cool looking. The tubes were a two piece design that split right at the seem all the time.
