4l60E 02 Tahoe Shift Kit or not w/Radix?
#22
I didn't like it overall. It made good power after about 3200rpm but on my Tahoe, after 5000rpm the belt would slip and I'd lose all boost until the tranny shifted into 2nd and got back over 3200, then another slip at 5000. Squealed really loud. Maybe on a pick-up where the weight is not so much it may not have this issue. Others have had the same issue with the Powedyne. If I was driving a S-10 or somethin of that size/weight the Powerdyne might be a good choice.

I decided against beefing up my 65K mile tranny and ordered a built one. The guy says it will hold up to anything I can put out with my 5.3. I bought the strongest one he makes called the "Godfather" Ewwwww, scary!! He rattled off so many upgrades I couldn't keep up 'cause I don't know much about transmissions. I will keep you guys posted. Should be here in a week and I hope to get it one ASAP, after that the Radix goes in......
