I just finished up organizing the conversion kits for you guys. Hopefully this makes it a little easier to understand. If you guys have any questions just let me know. Here is a link.

Nice job, Sean. Do you have a kit that will work with the SSS AWD transfer case? If so, there are a ton of guys who will be looking to buy you some beer...

Yep, we have conversions for the Awd guys. We have already done a few. We change the output shaft on the tranys to compensate for the different spline.

well if it does work with the awd which is awesome!! do you guys also reprogram it? i remember kurt from w2w got his 80 in they couldnt get it to shift out of first because of an extra sensor in it , so they needed gm to come down and reprogram it!

There are several different ways to reprogram the PCM's to work with our harness.

1. Using a file with the same segment one id out of a different truck that originally had a 6.0L with a 4L80E. This way requires you to copy your current fuel tables etc. over.

2. I have heard HP Tuners has a deal now that allows you click a button in the software to change the trany type.

3. I also believe Allen over at Nelson Performance does a few also.

4. If it comes down to it and nothing is working. We have to use a Hex editor and physically go into the program and copy paste a 4L80E code. This has happened once so far. But we were able to make it work.
