Yes Im goin to order a dennys drive shaft on Monday. The gears are 3.73s. On the pull that it blew up the drive shaft it did 401 hp with only 17degrees of timing in it when i usually have about 21.

Which one do you think would be better? A Dennys drive shaft or that carbon fiber one? I have heard that a carbon fiber drive shaft isnt too strong. plus if you break a dennys then they replace it.

Because they didn't have one long enough for me...call them and make sure though. I think my d/s was 63", and the longest they have was up to 60" in anything that would withstand some power.
I would suggest talking with a driveline shop in your area. I found a local place that will make me a 4" aluminum shaft w/ all 1350-series joints cheaper than a Denny's d/s.

They can make a shaft, but it's their economy shaft from what I remember. If memory serves me, none of the nice heavy duty shafts weren't able to be made long enough for our trucks.
His best bet would be to call Denny's and have them tell him what that can and can't make. I might be off on what I remember as it's been several months since I looked into it.
