I dont' think that Denny's will have anything long enough for your truck.

Which one do you think would be better? A Dennys drive shaft or that carbon fiber one? I have heard that a carbon fiber drive shaft isnt too strong. plus if you break a dennys then they replace it.

You can check, but I don't believe that Denny's has a shaft long enough for your truck.

Why dont you think dennys would have one long enough. They custom make them to your specs.

Because they didn't have one long enough for me...call them and make sure though. I think my d/s was 63", and the longest they have was up to 60" in anything that would withstand some power.

I would suggest talking with a driveline shop in your area. I found a local place that will make me a 4" aluminum shaft w/ all 1350-series joints cheaper than a Denny's d/s.

I talked to Denny's about making one for mine - I swear that is the low speed vib I have at 12 mph - till I saw the TSB from GM
Denny state they could make one for mine.

They can make a shaft, but it's their economy shaft from what I remember. If memory serves me, none of the nice heavy duty shafts weren't able to be made long enough for our trucks.

His best bet would be to call Denny's and have them tell him what that can and can't make. I might be off on what I remember as it's been several months since I looked into it.

They will make you an aluminum HD shaft

But since its over 60 inches its gonna cost you about twice as much

Maybe that's why I thought they can't make one...I wanna say that the HD Aluminum was $700 or more?!?!
