Default 4l80 Problems Please Help

I am still having problems with my 4l80. I went to the track last night and its acting all funny. It has a shift kit and thats it. I did a burn out and after the burn out it didnt wana move like it was in nuetral for like 5 seconds and then just started rolling forward. Then it left in second gear. Then it didnt wana shift into third gear. It drives fine on the street and shift fine at WOT on the street but never at the track with slicks. Anyone here got any ideas?

It sounds like you are having a problem with the electrical connection that powers your transmissions electronic controls. It sounds like your transmission went in to limp mode and stayed in second gear.Once the connection was reestablished the transmission shifted again.

another guess - there are some "hidden" abuse mode and tq mgmt tables that did not appear until the latest version of Edit. Maybe it takes something like a hard burnout to activate some of these...?
