Is there any mounting problems? Do they bolt right up? Do I need to shorten the drive shaft. I think I am going to get my drive shaft balanced anyway. Thanks in advance.

I know for a fact that it is pretty easy on that particular truck.

I bet it has a Hughes torque converter in it.

- 4L80E tranny (be sure it has a dipstick tube and inspection cover, or add another $100 to your budget )
- Higher stall converter (Yank TT3200 HD for me)
- 6.0L flexplate and crank spacer w/ correct length flywheel bolts
- Speartech wiring harness
- Tuning for tranny
- Tranny cooler
- Transgo
- shortened driveshaft--since my truck is lowered, I'm going to go ahead and get the proper length d/s. I've heard that the d/s will fit w/ an adapter from the 1350 yoke to the "saginaw" (?) joint on the d/s
- custom crossmember (either mod your stock one or have one built from scratch)
I think that's it so far...someone chime in if I've missed anything. The tranny will physically bolt to any LSx motor AFAIK.

Be sure that the correct fitting is used for the return line. It protrudes into the case and through a seal on the center support to provide lube and cooling oil to both rear planetaries and associated shafts.
