4l80e conversion underway

Ok, it is finished and I have put about 50 miles on it so far. I haven't been able to get on it yet-I made up a real quick edit file and flashed it into the PCM of my '02 then switched 'puters just so I could get it going. I have the wrong timing tables and it it detonating at any thing resembling heavy throttle.
The actual swap was so easy and simple that I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. The crossmember worked without modification, as did the driveshaft except for changing the slip yoke. The only things that had to be modified were the wiring, the rearward most cooler line, and the shifter linkage. I am going to reprogram the timing in the morning then I will be able to take it out and beat on it to see if it will get a 2nd gear scratch lol.

how much stronger is the 80 compared to a built up 65?
just my $.02 but i think a stock 4l80e with just a shift kit is probably a little stonger than a built 4l65e. the thing is an 80e will rob horse power so you dont really want to step up unless you really need it.
